On October 13, 2005 we had out kick-off fundraiser at Duke's City on U Street in Washington, DC. This was a reggae/spoken word event hosted by Komplex with music by Bambu Station and performances by I Jah Menelik, Black Culture, Tuff Lion, Army, Heru, 13 of Nazareth, and Aza. This event had a great turn out and was a success.

On November 19, 2005 at Roha Restaurant on U Street we will be having a DJ party with DJ Munch on the 1's and 2's and a special performance from Jabari of Hueman Prophets and Farafina Kan. Entry fee $7. Please come and support.
