Welcome

Pre Production and Fundraising can be one of the biggest challeges in making a film. Me and my pre production team,

Kim Bey, Producer
Heidi Riviere, Consultant
Tricia Riviere, Grant Manager
Quan Lateef, Materials Manager

are putting in a lot of work daily to create new and non conventional ways as well as conventional ways to make money for the film.

We welcome you to join our blogpage and provide any comments, questions, or suggestions for us. All so let us know if you would like to be part of our team.

On October 13, 2005 we had out kick-off fundraiser at Duke's City on U Street in Washington, DC. This was a reggae/spoken word event hosted by Komplex with music by Bambu Station and performances by I Jah Menelik, Black Culture, Tuff Lion, Army, Heru, 13 of Nazareth, and Aza. This event had a great turn out and was a success.

On November 19, 2005 at Roha Restaurant on U Street we will be having a DJ party with DJ Munch on the 1's and 2's and a special performance from Jabari of Hueman Prophets and Farafina Kan. Entry fee $7. Please come and support.

Hope we can share and enlighten each other throughout the birth of Tall Is Her Body and I look forward to hearing from you.

Fiona Riviere, Director/Writer
